About Karunya Lottery
Karunya was introduced by the Kerala State Lotteries Department as part of its welfare-linked lottery framework, with proceeds channeled toward assistance for seriously ill patients who lack the financial means for costly treatment. Since its launch, it has become one of the most closely followed weekly draws in the state, both for its prize value and its social welfare mandate.
